Petrolink

I joined Petrolink as a Product Designer (Design System), the company had a suite of products aimed at maximizing efficiency for oil and gas companies, but they lacked a unified user experience.

There were inconsistencies that made using the tools confusing and fragmented for customers. It was clear a scalable design system was needed to bring consistency and improve the overall user experience.

I spearheaded the design of Petrolink's new cross-platform design system. Through user studies and testing, I gained deep insights into customer workflows that informed the design. I defined the foundational elements like color palette, typography, iconography, and components that could be reused across products.

Collaborating with developers, I established design patterns and best practices for new features. My focus was crafting intuitive interactions tailored specifically to oil and gas customer needs. The design system enabled our team to work faster while bringing a polished, cohesive experience to life across platforms.

As new products were built, I helped coach team members on leveraging the design system to maintain consistency. Seeing the benefits firsthand, my colleagues became advocates. With our unified toolkit, we could collaborate more efficiently to optimize and enhance Petrolink's products in an agile way.

The scalable design system transformed Petrolink, providing oil and gas customers with clarity and ease-of-use across the platform. My proudest moment was receiving positive user feedback on an updated tool we rapidly designed and launched. I'm excited to see where we can take Petrolink next.
